Costume

Courtney and I discussed the costume that we will need for our actors. We decided that:
(Nayana Thompson)- The child will be seen wearing white clothing to symbolise purity and innocence. We got the idea of the child wearing white from Cape Fear, this is because in  the school yard scene of Cape Fear the young girl is wearing white clothing to emphasise her innocence.
(Shelley Fowler)- The mother featured in our thriller opening will be be wearing casual clothing as she does not lay an important part. This will effectively look as if the child has been somewhere and she is just collecting her.
(Danny Fowler)- The villain will wear dark clothing to highlight his intentions, in the way that he is planning to do wrong. The fact that he will be wearing dark clothing also keeps him a mysterious character.
