I created this mood board to show the key characteristics of
Film-Noir and the things that have inspired the works of Film-Noir. I have
found that Film-Noir is highly inspired by the works of German expressionist
films, and almost all Film-Noir films contain the characteristics such as
Mirrors, Shadows, Archways, Windows, Sharp Angles, Smoke, Rain on the Roads, and
Faces Half in Shadow. These key characteristics make the Film-Noir films highly
